Rivers of Eastern Scotland
From our central base you will experience the very best that Eastern
Scotland has to offer a canoeist. We will select the perfect location
for you to enjoy every day, with options including canoeing on the
Tay, Findhorn and Spey or one of the other many fantastic rivers
in the area. During the week we will concentrate on not only taking
your canoeing to the next level, but also using skills such as poling
and lining and tracking in relevant environment. This will all be
facilitated in a small group, allowing our coach to respond to your
individual canoeing needs.
Each evening you will return our deluxe accommodation where a brilliant evening meal will be prepared for you and then have the chance to relax in readiness for another amazing day out on the water.
Half way through your trip you will get the chance to experience some Scottish culture and have a rest away from your canoe. So what will you decide on; a lovely walk, a trip around a Speyside whisky distillery, sketching alongside a beautiful loch, or perhaps learning to carve your own wooden spoon?
For those with sufficient previous experience this trip can include training and/or assessment for the BCU Canoe 3 star award.
